it should be added that the guy ran around shooting into the air, not really at people, and appeared to be going for a suicide-by-cop type thing. had he actually started shooting AT people, instead of into the air and at cars, from the time he started his rampage, this would have been a much different story. he chased people, shot into the air, accidentally hit one patron in the back, and was chased into a bathroom and shot by this cop.

still glad she was there to stop him, but the story isn't quite "he went in and shot at everyone with the intent to kill but only because of this woman were masses of people not killed." he could have killed masses of people had he aimed at them instead of into the air.
