A skinny, dirty Anne Hathaway does not bestir my manhood. I saw the extended trailer for it before Skyfall and none of the clips of her were bonererrific. Not bonererrific at all, sir.

    Now i have a headache.
I have never seen the play and I don't know anything about this but my daughter is hocking me a chanik (yiddish for nagging to death) to take her. Something a 14 could sit through? I heard it's reeeeally long. I also heard a scathing review on the radio the other day that said it was AWFUL, HORRIBLE with nothing to redeem itself whatsoever. I don't usually pay attention to reviews but I gotta say I never heard such a rant about a movie before so it caught my attention!

Not sure what you are referring to. I'm just not familiar with this Miserable play/movie/story. I have seen other plays. In any case, I'm going tomorrow. Maybe I can sneak into the Tarrantino movie next door.

literally means don't rattle my tea kettle.

As far as a 14 year old and Les Mis, it depends on the 14 year old.

The movie is entirely sung. No dialogue. and it IS long.

    "Musical"

Saw it today. Not as good as a live performance but it had its moments. The cinematography and topography were pretty good, I will say. Amanda Seyfried always gives me a 3/4 chub.

I give it 5 tubs of corn and 2 pepsis.

    did you cry?

what were your thoughts on the performances?

wasn't it great seeing Colm in it?

IMO, he blew every vocal away the second he opened his mouth. Good lord, what a presence and what a voice that man has.

Agreed about Russell Crowe...underwheming. Thought everyone else was good, though. That being said, couldn't help but think..."can they dub Colm in for everyone's parts?" Really well shot. Sasha Baron was an interesting choice.

All I can remember right now.

I was super impressed by Marius, whoever played him. And i was pleased with the Eponine. That's my favorite role, and she didn't disappoint.

and the two kids, the boy and the girl, were wonderful. i kept thinking "where did they find these kids?"

Think Marius was on Broadway. Good selection, that kid.
