Japanese are more sophisticated and westernized. I spent a few months in China and the people are rude and far more racist than you can ever imagine. Think of how packed your local mall is the day after Christmas and that's ANY Chinese market EVERY day. I couldn't wait to get back to the US and still get PTSD whenever I'm in Chinatown/San Francisco
