paul didn't deny her the autograph, howard did. howard was told he and his daughter could go back to meet paul, but the people who came out to escort howard and his daughter back said they were only authorized to bring 2 people back. since beth certainly can't sit alone for a few minutes while howard makes his daughter's day, no one went back and no one got an autograph.

Howard said he was thinking about how Ashley wanted an autograph so he felt terrible asking. He said he's never done that in his life. He said this was important to her though. Howard said Paul came in and he asked him if he would sign a ticket as quickly as he could. Paul said that he'd do that but then blew him off saying he had to take pictures. Howard said they brought them all over to take pictures with Paul and did that but no autograph. Howard said he felt bad the whole concert. Howard said he shouldn't have bothered the guy.
