There are politicians on the left fringe (Kucinich) who believe that legally owned guns should be confiscated and there are Left wing demagogues and talking heads who have repeatedly declared that "nobody" other than the military and law enforcement should own semi-automatic weapons. What does that infer? Millions of Americans own "assault weapons." If millions own them, but nobody should be allowed to, how is that rectified exactly?

When Obama cites that the majority of Americans agree that Americans shouldn't own, "military-style weapons," what does that suggest? What notion does that imply or promote. People like Feinstein have already stated that the next proposed ban will be far more strict than the one in '94. There's plenty of room to read between the lines.

I'm not saying that a confiscation is inevitable (I don't think there's enough support for that,) but you can bet your ass that there are PLENTY of lawmakers who'll both push for it and hope it happens.
