NORTHRIDGE (CBSLA.com ) — Actor Jack Klugman died on Monday at the age of 90, his attorney confirmed.

“Mr. Klugman died peacefully at home in Northridge, California with his loving wife, Peggy Klugman, at his side,” his attorney Larry Larson said.
Klugman was best known for his role in “The Odd Couple” and several movies.
He won two Emmys for the show and was nominated for a Tony Award for his role in “Gypsy.”
In 1974, Klugman was diagnosed with throat cancer. In 1989, he lost a vocal cord to the disease, but continued to work on the stage and television.
Klugman was born in Philadelphia on April 27, 1922.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and two grandchildren.
Memorial services have not been set.
