Not here please.This is for posters who Have dysfunctional families and do not give gifts to each other and have not watched any Christmas movies or any Christmas songs all year.For ones that got robbed lost there job or got cheated on and Christmas is shit this is the thread for you. You CAN post about your past christmses that were ruined by family or shitty gifts or How you are avoiding all the Fake niceness and bullshit that goes along with this Holiday. And your plans for new years if you have any. .

I have not celebrated Xmas with my family in over 20 years. I go out of the country in December to get away from it all.

I used to walk around with earplugs in when I was married. My ex husband is a "loud" fellow and also liked to blast the shitty surround sound during action films.

I have delicate sensibilities.

They live about 2 hours away. I've made it very clear that I've no interest in participating in their dramatic bullshit that's been happening for years. They wish that I was there but understand that we have different lives. We still talk on the phone and email often.
