    Lightbulb Skype?

    Friends, I need your help.

    What is this "skype?" I'm going to be working with a French Tutor on line, he says I need "skype..."

    What is it? I see it mentions a video phone, but can you just use audio? Does it cost money? Help please!

    French is such a romantic sounding language. Even the most innocuous sentences sound beautiful.

    That being said, I don't Skype but it involved a webcam. Make sure your tutor isn't looking for

    get a webcam, download Skype, create an account, user name etc. give user name to your "tutor"... there you go

    All you need is a microphone to use skype its just a service for talking to people for free over the internet. You can do video calls if you want but all you need is a mic to talk

    my parents love to watch the grandkids act like little hams on Skyppe . i haven't really used it yet . i didn't realize it worked without a webcam though.
