President Barack Obama was reportedly so frustrated with House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) during fiscal cliff negotiations this week, he threatened to blame Republicans in a very public setting.

When Boner can't even get a consensus about a million dollar tax threshold, you can see how far apart the crazy right Republicans are.

It will take Boner to swing some Republicans with common sense to team up with Democrats to get anything passed.

Grover Norquist, whose entire career is literally based on the principle that Republicans cannot compromise on raising taxes under any circumstance, is upset That Obama has ‘not been negotiating’

and by negotiating of course he means give in to every one of their demands.

Grover Norquist once said that "bipartisanship is another name for date rape". Somehow I doubt that he and his followers are willing to negotiate in good faith. besides the republicans shot down THEIR OWN PLAN. I don't know why anyone would expect the president to step forward with a new compromise after that.
