You post like a seasoned cop who has seen most everything. Somewhat analytical and cynical, with a certain protective detachment-gallows humor. My Dad was a cop and he talked the same way. I don't speak from personal experience, but the daily dose of mayhem and violence you would see would certianly lead to that attitude.
