Indeed it has. Madonna was nothing more than an ambitious little whore, prepared to walk over as many backs as possible, in her obsessive pursuit of fame. She fooled people into believing they were seeing something original, when all she offered were morphed bits of Debbie Harry & Cyndi Lauper. It helped that she flashed her bra straps & sucked off dj's (who were dumped when their professional favors were no longer required). That kind of behaviour did put her on the road to stardom. If her vag hadn't been as freely available in every Lower East Side, early 80s, dance club, she may not have turned into -- for a very long time, the most recognised female on the planet. I never understood why she did become so famous, though. I will admit, in the early days (before she married Sean Penn, got skinny & tried to look like Marilyn Monroe), i did find her extremely good looking & (secretly) liked some of the songs but my interest in her ended there. It amazes me that people pay go to see her lip sync to that terrible music.
