It will be interesting to see how DirectTV handless this. It took Sirius 6 years to do anything about Artie. (we don't know if it was Howard or Sirius that suspended Artie. Legally it was Sirius that would be liable if they let a drugged up Artie into the building.)

When Artie pissed on the floor, DirectTV suspended him direct. That is the only way to handle Artie.
DirectTV need to do a drug test on Artie. And if there are illegal drugs in the system: straight to real rehab.

Artie will be dead if he don't do that.

And why do opiates? Its a "downer drug". You get tired and don't care about the world on that. At least use cocaine and party like Charlie Shen. A house full of drugs and hookers, ins't that a dream life?

I don't understand why he can't just go home after work and drink half a bottle of Jack like a normal person, suck it up the next day and get to work with a hangover, maybe go a little overboard on the weekend if there's a game on.

The weird puritan attitude in the US that you have to abstain from everything for the rest of your life if you have a problem probably does a lot more harm to people like Artie than good.

Artie's always been that kind of completely anti-social drug user. He totally withdraws. I'm also curious to see what is going to happen here. Could it be he's taking a scheduled vacation, or are they talking about it on the show?
