All that said about Seth having a punchable face has nothing to do with his sexuality. I think he's straight because there is no reason for him to have a beard. He's creative, not an actor.

The marketability of a "sexy" actor or musician who has a large female following has a reason to cover up homosexuality. Rock Hudson had a reason for a beard. This applies to entertainers who are married. Tom Jones was married but his marketers didn't let that out because it messed with his "sex appeal." Same for John Lennon for a while.

Seth doesn't sell himself as a "sexy" guy. He writes and draws for the most part, therefore there is no professional reason to cover up the gay.

So what's the deal with stuff like this? Was Taylor paid to be Doogie's gf in every way but sexually, to keep up the appearance that he was straight? Or was she just friends with Harris and was doing him a favor?
