Although if you want to get technical all the silicon valley jobs are salary and all the companies are very forward thinking when it comes to gay relationships, giving civil union and gay marriage partners full medical benefits. Most campuses have the gay pride flag prominently displayed somewhere. A lot of smart cars. Millionaires driving smart or all electric cars.

Millionaires & Celebrities may drive a smart car for P.R. purposes... But, I guarantee they have a big gas-guzzler or two parked in the garage for when the paparazzi aint looking

I've been to their homes. This is what they drive. The one home was an ultra efficient home. No heater, stays a comfortable 70 degrees, heated by people and appliances. They actually have to pump out heat in the winter.

You actually see these around here every day. People drive them because you don't have to pay road tax on them and they get amazing gas mileage. They are expensive as fuck to buy, though. Mercedes makes them. I would never drive one because it's just too small. It's half a car. Unsafe, not very comfortable and you look like a tool in one.
My name was supposed to be French fries with mayo but I was drunk when I signed up.

You can also just call me "Dick".

They start at $14,900, so they're not all that expensive...

You can buy bigger and more comfortable cars for that money. That's a lot of cash for a car that's smaller than the average golf cart.

I'm a big fan of big and comfortable cars, but they're really expensive to have here. It's a bummer, I'd love to drive around in some big-ass Mercedes or Cadillac that's a couple of years old. They're relatively cheap to buy 2nd hand, but the road tax is what kills the fun of those kind of cars over here. Just to own one, you'll pay around a thousand bucks a year in taxes alone, on top of that there's the 9 bucks a gallon fuel price.

If you must have a car that's easy to park but still is a real car, get a Volkswagen Golf. You can get one for 17 grand, and the quality and finish of these things is fantastic.

or even better, one of these (slightly bigger and a 100 times sexier than any other car that you can buy with normal money)
