Some have kids because they think they should, or it is all they have been told they should do. This may not be a popular sentiment here, but it is reality--look at all the effed up people around. Lots of bad gene pools that have attracted and intermingled with other bad gene pools. Every generation is getting exponentially worse.

A good rule of thumb--if you are a jobless recovering heroin addict here from another country, supported by our government, who must supplement your food stamps by going to church food pantries, DON'T have a baby. Yes, this is an actual scenario I personally witnessed a couple of weeks ago

When I do go out to museums and stuff and there are kids on school trips there, the children are as fun-loving, cute, warm and smart as they always were. Of course there are some turds but there are always turds.
