The band just reunited after 30 years and the joke of the movie apparently is how obscure they are and what a loser move the protaganist is making by trying to sign them, a band of 60 y/o never-was's. From what I read they're playing in the movie on stage and Parker may even have some lines. I dig their music.

i saw this and it was pretty bad. movie was way too long, he really needs to find a new editor that will make him cut his movies down. the scenes with the older daughter were especially bad.
