When Spock Mind Melds with an enormous pile of Chili-Cheese Fries (and discovers that it's painful being living comfort-food)... ??

The mathematical equation will be congruous to the number of hours you spend by yourself living rent free in your parents basement

Forget the name of the episode and season, but there is a Halloween episode in TOS with a haunted castle that is horrible.

Star Trek was originally pitched by George Lucas but when nobody would pick it up he let his friend Gene Roddenberry have all of his drafts.

There is not a shred of truth to that.

The 1st season or 2 weren't very good. But, it became a fantastic show.

Captain Kirk's character was born in Riverside Iowa. Shatner wanted him to hail from Canada like him but the producers wanted this an American show so Shatner, having recently found Jesus at a church in Riverside Iowa said since he was born again in Riverside they should make it there. The producers like the middle of the country feel.

Lucas was still in college when the series started. He wasn't in the film business yet. He hadn't produced THX1138, the school film that got him into the industry.

The producers of Star Trek did say that Kirk was born in Iowa. Riverside was never mentioned and had only appeared in a couple of unofficial ST books until recently. The town itself is who first claimed Kirk was born there.
