Richard Christy replies to question re Zoo za zoo

Its not much, but I thought I would tell you for those who have little to do today I asked Richard. I met hiw twice, and he is as cordial as he sounds on the show.

Have you heard the poem Zoo Za Zoo, and if so, what do you think of it? The poem is relevant to the Howard Stern show.

    He replied:

Hey Edmund, thanks for the heads up, I haven't heard it but I will check it out! Take Care!

I agree. And he has so much less than his boss, but I guarantee if happiness had a monetary value, he could buy and sell Howard a million times over.

I don't think he's naive so much as just a generally decent person. unfortunately nowadays most people view that as being simple minded or weak.

I put the direct number here, because Richard obviously doesn`t mind giving it out, he gave it to me and definetely doesn`t know me. He met me twice but surely he forgot me right after. I will edit it out in case there are some nuts that might harass him. Well, its been cut and pasted, so despite my edit it still lives, hopefully no one bugs the guy, he is a super nice guy, even tohough he pranks others as part of his job.Thankfully no one killed themselves over it.

Couldn't you just call SXM and ask to talk to RC?

Richard is the one person on the show I still like. I wrote him years ago with a link to my (death metal) band's MySpace, telling him my drummer was a huge fan and asked if he could he give it a listen. He did, made comments on parts he liked, and said my drummer was awesome ... which of course made Lloyd cream his shorts. Richard's work on "The Sound of Perseverance" is brilliant and influenced a ton of metal drummers, it's a shame that Howard discounts it because of the genre. Chuck Schuldiner did not work with scrubs.

I wonder if Richard's going to get in trouble for that.
