That kind of thinking is what kills the country. This all or nothing from both sides is horrible. I vote mostly conservative because of fiscal policies, so with that people automatically think I'm opposed to gay marriage, abortion etc. When in fact most people are middle of two parties. Sans a few extremists from both sides.

You and I probably have most of the same beliefs, we just put different importance on them. Sad that I have to vote for a guy against abortion and gay marriage because I want taxed less and less government spending.

Maybe one day a viable third party will come along and both republicans and democrats will be a thing of the past.

Since everything is done, I would be okay to not hear too much more about it, save for any new information.

It may seem done, and many ask why an investigation continues. Some interesting points were brought up in reference to this. Although he acted alone, it must be determined whether he was doing this as part of a terrorist organization. What if there are others like him involved ready to attack other schools? What if he was coerced by someone into doing this? If he was indeed involved with an organization and they managed to pull off other attacks, there would be an outcry that not enough was done to determine there was a connection.
