I'm watching Piers because of this thread. He's hoping this gun issue can save his job.

Yep...he's just trying to shake things up so he can (hopefully) catch a headline or two and drum up some viewers for his boring show...he's pulled this shit before.

In my country (Sweden) we have fanatical gun laws. Its almost impossible as a private person to have a gun. In my countries history we have had one mad man gunning down tons of people. (and he was a soldier, so he just took his automatic weapon from work).

At the same time Sweden have more guns per capita then US. Hunters and home guard.

This is evidence of that guns is not the full problem. Many other countries outside US have much more guns, but don't have crazy killings.

In a society with hard gun laws leads to that only government people and criminals have guns. And the government are often no better then the criminals.

USA is the greatest country in the world. It have the best democracy in the world. Don't mess with the constitution. No other country have managed to make it better then US.
