Stern gave Carolla a shot and he blew it; the get john's job contest. You may be referring to the sirius show they offered him years later for peanuts.

Wrong. Carolla was offered the chair before Artie and he turned it down, even Art has admitted that. Even when Artie got the chair Stern used to have carolla sit in on the show from LA

Now, when TfC's twitter traffic blows up this year I will be right on 50% of my predictions.

    Suck on that MPA!

You really do not want to hear the true "Story of Gunnar".

Two laughs for every tear. Heart felt. Mind bending.

As Bert Smetzer, audio tech for Judge Judy says: "that Gunnar, he all that!".

What if Nick is doing what Adam Carolla did when he had it with Danny Partridge (i.e., he just stopped showing up)?

Nick seemed fine on last Thursday show. Maybe there is more to Artie missing Mon-Tues. than the flu.

Remember how Artie posted about a new comedy gig on Monday (on artiequitter)? Strange for a guy in the flu's death grips.

Maybe 1+ years is the limit for someone working with Artie.

    Here are my other predictions:

AZ Cardinals win out 2012 season.
    Bengals make it to superbowl

Damn I am back to 5 piles of steaming shit for a rep. I hope this thread does not add to it.

I was on to the N&A breakup a while back. But what fan could not see it coming? I thought it would Artie flying off.

Man I am going to miss Nick. I think I will replay hour 3, 12-14-11 and sip a beer.

    Damn, Damn it, Damn.

Thank god we got Artie still. Maybe Nick will come back on after a while. I listened to his two Sirius shows recently (April 2011). You can see when Nick's only job is to be the talent that he is really funny. I do not think Nick wanted to be the "responsible" one on the show. I think he took direction from the guys who were putting their own money and asses on the line for the show because Nick is a standup (no pun intended) guy. He might of felt responsible for bringing Artie onboard (and the correct perception that Artie could go nuts again) and tried to be a bridge (to management). In the end, these bosses are in the talent business and Artie is the proven radio talent.

Good luck to Artie and all of us (his listeners).

He said many times that he couldn't believe that he was playing the straight man.

Moeller and Elder are ok, but I went to LaSalle.

And I don't start co-hosting with Artie until February
