I saw it and it never occurred to me. I haven't read the Fleming books so I don't know how much of that was original. I was wondering how that old place had electricity without any poles or wires in site. I doubt they spent the money to bury it.

Good point. That place was in the middle of f'n no where. Maybe the butler upgraded to solar panels in Bond's absence.

I saw it twice and I still don't like it. The backstory's in the Fleming books. It's just not that very interesting. That's when the movie drags. Rotten Tomatoes: 90+ %. Reality: More like 70%.
