Thread: Day one....

    Exercise is really the key. Some years ago I dropped from 220 to 180 (6'4") in 4 months by low-carbing and going to the pool semi-daily. For the last few months I've been low-carbing while sitting at the computer writing and not exercising; the weight is going nowhere.

    A good source for low carb info is Professor Tim Noakes of the University of Cape Town. He's one of the world's most respected sports scientists.

    He caused some controversy after going low carb about two years ago. Since then he's dropped a shitload of weight and drastically cut down his half-marathon times.
