It's not news that the quality of the show sucks these days, and Howard's taken "phoning it in" to a new level. It's also not news that he makes a huge effort to keep fans from hearing "sensitive" information now. Whether it's callers that are too honest, the truth about Robin's illness, Robin's angry walkouts, silence on the Artie situation, negative comments about Beth's Hollywood friends, or whatever else... the staff have to go to great pains to keep raw information from hitting the air.
Thinking about both these facts together, though, is extra lame. For someone as "hardworking" and "honest" as Howard... it's especially pathetic that the only thing he's careful and diligent about anymore is suppressing honesty on his show.

Fuck almost a year and they have yet to say what's wrong with the voice no one sees. I mean if it was any other show it would have been addressed by now. But everything has to be a secret with this motherfucker . . .

On the west coast feed it says "Uncensored Freedom" The show now is more censored that when they were on terrestrial radio. Viva la REVOLUTION!!

Howard even lies about things that seem completely inconsequential and not tied to any agenda. A couple of times he's mentioned Beth was at a charity event when it turned out to be a paid gig or a promotion. He seems to enjoy thinking he's getting away with something and fooling people.
