No, he is actually real and he even has his own website. I think someone asked Gary about him awhile back and he said that at first they could not find a mutually agreeable date for him to appear on the show and then he just stopped taking Gary's calls. Basically, he took $5,000 from the show and took off. For a Wack Packer, the guy is on the ball.
