I always presumed that was the TOTAL cost of the contract - to include moving the show to lovely Newark, hiring East Coast staff, Superbowl ads etc AND, we now learn, the second year of the contract. Kind of like Howard's 500 million contract with Sirius - that number included the cost of producing the show, subscription quota bonuses (not met) and stock options (that turned out to be worthless).

Of course, since Howard is a liar, Howard could be lying about the 15 mil.

It's still 5 times less than what everyone claimed Howard was getting ($15 million).

is that possible? --that they paid Howard ten times the amount they paid Sharon?

All things considered, I think it's possible that Sharon just did it to have fun and get her brand out there. Between her father's money, her money and Ozzy's, she likely isn't too concerned about a weekly paycheck.
