What is your all time favorite candy?

Anyone else like cinnamon toothpicks? We use to go to the drug store and get cinnamon oil from the pharmacist and soak the toothpicks in the oil for days. Could also do this with notebook paper.

It's kind of a Texas thing. They are fairly common in the South.

The inside is a toffee-like honeycomb of crunchy peanut butter with toasted coconut on the outside.

Spazz probably had a few as a kid.

We called them chicken bones. Pretty good.
Favorite candy was/is Violet Crumble. A sort of seafoam candy covered in chocolate.

The thing I hate about them now is the paper the cup sits in. Most of the time the bottom layer of chocolate sticks to the wrapper and it gets pulled off the bottom of the cup. It didn't used to do that. The paper they use for the wrapper is different than it used to be.

I didn't do too much bottle-collecting because I did other stuff like mow lawns, wash cars, etc. Coolest job I had as a kid was batboy for a minor league club.

My favorite way to have a Chick-O is to break a little off in the wrapper, probably about an inch, and keep it in my mouth for a few minutes and let it kind of simmer.

I'm a little amazed it's not known better around the US because it's a damn good candy.

The reason I called them a Texas thing is because the maker is in Texas and they were everywhere there. But I've had them as far out as Virginia. Never been to your nape of the woods.
