Let that be a lesson that manners are still important.
The broad's answer was 'get a job' and she wasn't even the one being asked for a smoke. Hell, I feel like smacking her for that answer.
Don't get me wrong, the boys overreacted for sure, but she wouldn't be six feet under with just a little civility. Ya know, something like 'aren't you boys a little young to be smoking' or "my boyfriend could be arrested for giving you a smoke" or a simple 'no'.
She probably would still be alive with any of those polite answers.
You know, your post made me re-read the first post. The victim wasn't alone, right? Ok. I didn't see/read that the first time I hit this thread.
So the victim's boyfriend is alive and he can testify?
