I remember when people used to pay for a browser

Opera actually stopped charging for their browser not even that long ago, actually. I remember back when it cost like 50 bucks or something.

saw a show on bloomberg this morning which highlited the browser wars of the 90's. netscape really got illegally run over by microsoft. it was a real eye opener as to what a phony dikhed bill gates is & how illegal microsofts business practices were. anyway it was interesting as hell how microsoft really acted like thugs from the mafia. microsoft was later fined $750 million paid to aol which had acquired netscape by then & it was too little too late. netscape is the precursor to fox mozilla by the way.

The real nail in Netscape's coffin was the release of a browser that everyone fucking despised...and then IE did the same thing a few years later.

Did you see that program on the men who built America and how JP Morgan got all of Tesla's patents simply by telling Westinghouse he had more money and he could put him out of business just in legal fees?
