saw a show on bloomberg this morning which highlited the browser wars of the 90's. netscape really got illegally run over by microsoft. it was a real eye opener as to what a phony dikhed bill gates is & how illegal microsofts business practices were. anyway it was interesting as hell how microsoft really acted like thugs from the mafia. microsoft was later fined $750 million paid to aol which had acquired netscape by then & it was too little too late. netscape is the precursor to fox mozilla by the way.

ya i was reading in bloomberg mag (love bloomberg for some reason) about all the corp espionage & thefts going on now, they estimate china alone is responsible for more than half of all worldwide corp espionage & proprietory theft. one story was samsung i think was shipping 50 super thin tv's not ready for the market yet to another location by rail, hired 14 security guards to watch this shipment & at the destination 4 came up missing with no one seeing anything. they speculate that the company that stole them would take apart to see how the electronics were arranged to make it so thin & thus speed up their own products time to market skipping all the engineering r&d steps it would otherwise need....
