    Howie Mandel genuinely enjoys people. Howard Stern does not. His mouth gives him away verbally and visually. Note the tightness around it when he is trying to look loose His overt body flails are not congruent to his stiff discerning mouth and those 70's beige tinted disco mafia sunglasses hides the man behind dead eyes.

    Great observation. Found this on a body language site under "tight-lipped smile":

    "Stretched across face in a straight line, teeth concealed. The smiler has a secret they are not going to share, possibly due to dislike or distrust. Can also be a rejection signal."

    - And sometimes when Howard laughs, it sounds like a maniacal, sneering laugh.

    I agree. When you are on TV, you must appear relaxed and there always seems to be underlying tenseness with Howard. I think because he's out of his element, he has to plot out everything he's going to do.

    As for Beth, she's off-the-charts crazy when she's on TV. She acts like someone who never gets out.
