He is probably the most talented one on SNL right now. His impersonations are phenomenal - Vincent Price, Daniel Day Lewis....

TOTALLY AGREE as an impressions fanatic (and I'm TOUGH on actors, comedians, and sketch performers). He's THE best thing to happen to the show since Dana Carvey and JUST as awesome playing subtle as he is something flamboyent. Almost like a cross between Carvey and Phil Hartman. Kristin Wiig is pretty much the female version of him. The show prob could get by with JUST those two in every sketch.

Hader lives in Robin's bldg (upper west side I think) and they periodically run into each on the elevator and lobby. Hader came off as shy and aloof the first few times and now finally they had alot of dialogue an Hader is evidently a fan of the show and has taken to TM because of Howard according to Robin.

That is kind of odd. If he's such a big fan of the show (and according to Robin she's run into him several times in the building) why did she have to tell him who she was? Her appearance must have changed drastically.

it's common courtesy to say "i'm a fan" when you meet someone that is only associated with one thing.

I remember Robin mentioning a while ago that he lived in her building but he has never said anything to her. She was upset because she is a fan of his.

Yeah, but according to Robin he said he started doing TM after hearing them talk about it on the show. That suggests he should have been at least somewhat familiar with Robin.
