50% of Republicans think non-existent group stole 2012 Election

49% of GOP voters nationally say they think that ACORN stole the election for President Obama. We found that 52% of Republicans thought that ACORN stole the 2008 election for Obama, so this is a modest decline, but perhaps smaller than might have been expected given that ACORN doesn't exist anymore.

Here is something I posted on 11/01/12 as to who republicans would blame when Obama won.

The group formerly known as ACORN created false identities over the last year and a half in every county and through a large absenttee ballot, and undocumented alien population they were able to get an additional 10 million votes for Obama. The only americans involved in the operation were the pollsters who skewed the results just enough to make Obama's win look passable. George Soros's superpac pledged 3 million to help the operation.

Well yes, Gore does say Bush stole the 2000 election.

But he doesn't say Bush stole the 2004 election.

he never gave specific ideas, that was the problem. he tried to be something he wasn't, and republicans saw through it. he lost because he couldn't get the republican vote, not because bam got the minority vote. the election was his to win, or lose. put out some solid plans, don't insult half the voters, don't rely on a computer program to do everything for you, and i think he wins easy

he was trailing "Generic Republican" early on, and i'm not sure he ever caught up.

maybe they should run "Generic Republican" in 2016

I forget the source, but I think (and I admit I could be wrong), over 50% of GOP voters actually claim to believe in Creationism...

    The horror.

Obama: I'm trying to remember if we've had this conversation. You know, what I've said to them is that I believe that God created the universe and that the six days in the Bible may not be six days as we understand it, it may not be 24-hour days, and that's what I believe. I know there's always a debate between those who read the Bible literally and those who don't, and that I think it's a legitimate debate within the Christian community of which I'm a part. My belief is that the story that the Bible tells about God creating this magnificent Earth on which we live -- that is essentially true, that is fundamentally true. Now, whether it happened exactly as we might understand it reading the text of the Bible. That, I don't presume to know.
