NYPD detectives are questioning a man in connection with the death of a Queens man who was pushed in front of an approaching subway train in Manhattan on Monday, a police official said Tuesday.

According to WNYC he was a street vendor near howards building. They caught him today back at work. If he's competent enough to earn a living then he's going away for a while
I have a Masters in Forensic Psychology. My training involves interviewing those who have been arrested and assessing whether or not their psych exam results or interview responses lead me to believe they are 'insane' or incompetent to stand trial. It's up to the court though to decide whether defendants are incompetent or not.
I simply could not go ahead and work in this capacity. I knew I could not bear having to deal with these kinds of disturbed people on a regular basis and be so close to such cases.
This case hits it home for me.. if he were found incompetent or insane, trust me, he may never see a trial and would instead be locked up in a mental facility instead of facing the kind of justice we (as primal beings) would want him to endure.

Hahahaha LOL
So I heard the dude was on the tracks for at least one minute.... prior to being hit by the train.
The photographer took 47 or 49 pictures of the event..... so he fucking lied about "signalling the train."
So most of you would have just stood and watched and not even tried to pull him up? I would have tried to yank him up and I would be ok with having died trying. It really makes me kinda sick that a bunch of people stood around, and some even stood around taking pictures and shooting video.
Granted, I haven't taken the train since (A) there were tokens and (B) they cost 65 cents, but from my recollection, the third rail is on the other side, not under the platform and there's plenty of room underneath.
It wasn't by choice and I think I've told the story before, but that shit happened to me when I was 15. Fell off the outer steps of a train pulling into the Bern, Switzerland station and rolled right under the fucking train. About 8 cars passed over me before it stopped and I crawled out covered in orange dust but unscratched. Long story short: no locks on the doors...just a sign in multiple languages not to open it...curb is only 6 inches, not 6 feet higher than the tracks like NYC subways...my "thing" was riding the last few hundred yards on the steps outside the train like the conductors...lesson motherfuckin' learned. Right in front of my old man too...watched me disappear under the train.
Completely stopped listening to the trainwreck called THSS in January 2012 except for turning it on in the bathroom when I shit or shower and I wish I'd pulled the plug the day Artie left. It's so bad that I've actually gotten out of the shower to turn it the fuck off.
