Recently there was a messy local "incident" and all of the knee jerk reactions by the higher ups make it risky to do anything more than the absolute minimum at work. They seem ready to throw anyone under the bus for anything. It's just a frustrating environment.

I realize that. I also have good reasons why I'm at the bottom of that hill.

I just wish that sometimes "management" would stand behind (or at least act like they do) their underlings for at least a split second. At the 1st sign of trouble the "save yourself" mentality goes full throttle and everyone underneath gets a swift kick to the junk. I haven't had a supervisor that I've felt is willing to "go to bat" for me in some time. If I do something wrong I expect and accept my punishment but if I've done no wrong I'd like to feel that some effort of protection is forthcoming. All I feel now is that I'm fucked no matter what I do. Cheers!
