First, if youre hanging the whole plant it will take longer to dry vs. cutting off branches.
Second, you should put them in a brown paper bag right before the stems are gonna snap
Third, if youre burbing longer than 5-7 days, you jared too soon.
this is all dependent on the weather/rH. You want it to take longer, as it produces a smoother smoke.
Not that i would know...
