Sharon just solved everybody's problem. AGT will move back to the west coast. They'll offer to re-sign Howie, which Howie can't/won't accept. This allows NBC and Howie to save face, and Howie has a reason for not signing back on. Sharon can re-sign now that the show is back on her home turf. Everybody wins.

Howie can go back to revising history by never talking about AGT again, just as he has done with role in the downfall of Artie (and his enabling of Artie) and his piss poor behaviour during Sandy.

Exactly what I was thinking. Except I don't think they'll actually offer Howard a re-sign, because he might be desperate enough to take it. I think he'll just use the relocation as his excuse for not re-signing, even though he wasn't asked back.
