[QUOTE=Nemo;2943710]Robin loved the story of the evil white girl missing/killed for her bike.
Quivers absolutely thought the murderers were suburban white boys.
Robin demanded that they release the names of the boys....so she could have some more laughs.
Robin gave us daily updates about this story until the (black) perps were named! Then she never mentioned this story again....
Dante and Justin.
That's like having brothers named Kevin and Lumorian.
I can safely assume that whoever named "Dante" never read Inferno.
My name is Cheryl and I'm your daughter.
Photography's a joke. Anyone can be a photographer. You do your scary great pictures because you're a professional. I'll take my stupid...automatic camera...take pictures and we'll see if people can tell the difference. - HS, 2-1-02

jackie was the best thing about the show....it was never, ever the same after he left. even artie couldn't bring it back to life..... the show has been resting on it's laurels ever since. there were "patches" of hilarity but jackie had a unique low-brow type of funniness and was self-deprecating as well.
we would sit around talking about the show in the mornings at work....it was that funny!
getting back to the OP, there a local story here about a 16yr old youf shooting a retired police dog. a local vet had been trying to keep him alive for days but ultimately had to put "drake" the dog to sleep. the youf held up a police officer's home and wasn't content stealing, he had to finish it off by shooting the dog. people are outraged because it's one of those human interest stories about the human/dog bond.
the little bastard just couldn't rob the place, he had to maim.....and the funny part is he was already wearing an ankle bracelet for other crimes...guess it malfunctioned.

“I’m sorry. I just want to go home,” bellyached Hofstra hoopster Jimmy Hall in a brief jailhouse interview after his arrest with three teammates on charges of swiping thousands of dollars’ worth of electronics from dorm rooms.
The 6-foot-4 Hall looked broken down, cold and tired after trading in his uniform for an orange jumpsuit.
“I don’t know why I did it,” he said — though he allegedly told cops, “I needed some money.”
