PRIMA Cinema at Primacinema.com has released a device that cost $35,000 that allows you to watch movies the same day they open at the box office. The movies cost $500 a piece. True theaterical quality. I don't know how long you get to view the movie or if permanently stays in your library. It downloads to the device with watermarks that can be identified should you attempt to share the movie. I am surprised that the studios are onboard with this. I guess they figure at $500 a pop that is same as 50 theater admissions. I know Howard is cheap and wants to watch the movies before they are released to the general public. In addition the "Whore" wants to be seen on red carpets. I doubt Howard would mention that he purchased this as his listeners would find out he spent $35K on a luxury item and he doesn't want people knowing he spends money. Just an educated guess, Howard will buy two of these if he hasn't already had them installed. One for Chimney Estates Theater room which puts Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood to shame. Anyone who doesn't think Howard has a home theater that rivals the best available is a fool. He will also get one for his New York penthouse.

Your probably right, even though $500 is like 5 cents to Howard he has that depression mentality. He has no problem in his mind justifying Beth spending $5000 on an ensemble to wear on the Red Carpet. $2000 dress, $1500 handbag and $1500 shoes. Beth averages about two appearances a month so that $10,000 or $120,000 for the year. This figure is conservative because during the Summer it's more like one a week. Beth never wears the same outfit or uses the same bag twice. He is probably worried that the $50K a year he would spend on movies would be money that he isn't leaving to charity. It's all Bullshit because when you have as much as Howard your entitled to indulge on yourself. There is more than enough money to give away when your dead. Bill Gates is a huge giver but that didn't stop him from building a $100 million dollar home which has the most advanced technology on the face of the earth. It didn't stop him from buying a sports car which is there is only a few models in existence and it cost upwards of $500,000. Howard really has no excuses to spend money on a device to watch new movies. His whole existence besides photography is watching TV and movies. "Za Za Zoo" would probably frown on it. She would lecture him that the money should go toward saving some "Chilean baby abandoned in the rain forest" laying a big guilt trip on him meanwhile she spends money producing some shit album with poetry.
