Jay seems convinced that he needs extra voices in the studio. He's even said that it doesn't matter who they are, he just needs people to bounce shit off of. I guess he thinks he has the magic formula down, but Gianna and Shuli are proof that less is sometimes better. Just Jay and Garrett would make the Friday show a whole lot more fun to listen to.

And for the few people who thought that Ira wouldn't be funny without Shuli writing lines for him, I think he's actually funnier as is on the 104 shows. Ira being Ira works for me.

I agree the afternoon 104 shows are so much better especially when it is just him and Garrett, with Cristina piping in sometimes. Since Jay is often calling in from Santa Barbara or New Orleans I think it works better when there are less people in the studio because there are less interruptions. I like Ira in small doses which is what they seem to be doing with him.
