I saw them at the 99/2000 New Years Eve show at Big Cypress and they were great. I havent paid much attention to them since. I saw an interview with Trey wher he said Big Cypress was the greatest show they ever did.

I dont know if they are in their Prime, but I am excited to see where they are going. Trey is working on getting his footing sober, and last year saw them exploring more than they ever did in 3.0. Sure, Im not expecting fall 97, but they are on point.

Many elitist people (Im not saying you Icculus, so please dont think that) will rag on 3.0 to show off how old school they are. While I understood their arguments in 09, and tolerated them in 10-11, they did not hold up in 12. If you didnt dig the band in 12, then you either dont get them anymore, or youre missing out.

This was my favorite festival. The music was on point, but more than anything, I just felt like I was witnessing a special moment.
