Howardstern.com supposedly has 136,000 "unique visitors" a month (way down from a year ago, btw), so at least that many if you believe those numbers. 250,000 wouldn't be out of the question.

Last year I was at Universal Orlando with some friends when I noticed some tall goofy looking guy who looked like a third rate Stern impersonater walking inn through the Main Gate. Kiddingly, I told my friends son (who was 20) kiddingly "Hey look, Howard Stern is in the park today!" . The kid looked at the guy, then at me and asked me in all seriousness "Who's Howard Stern?'
Did you hear Sal and Richard's on-the-street interview with the screaming teen girls? When asked about Howard Stern, they didn't know who he was, then finally asked if he was the guy with the curly hair. Stands to reason none of their parents are fans either. Howard's fame is pushing up daisies alongside Bianca.

True, he may have some fans, but I bet Buchwald lobbied his balls off to get Howard the job. Promoting him as edgy and honest, plus a little dangerous and unpredictable. All complete bullshit, but networking prevailed.

    Less than 100,000 . . .

I think the number must be very low. He lost 4 million AGT viewers. Nobody is interested in him. If there were hundreds of thousands of listeners, I think more of them would be finding Dawg's Saloon, looking for somewhere to chat about what happened on the show. It's just us here!

I thought that is what he said, LOL. Must be the line of BS that Gary tells people he is trying to book.

I only know one other person that listens to Howard. I've been looking for another "fan" for years now and just haven't found another one, other than her.

So I can't imagine Howard has more than 100,000 listeners now, most likely 50,000. The show is fucked now and I can't stand it anymore.

Other than friends of the show or people already at sirius for multiple channel visits does gary even book any unique guests anymore?

You people have it all wrong. To find the number of listeners, simply use Twitter as a reference point..

Showtime and Sirius/XM are both pay services. Now Dexter averages about 2 million viewers a week. Jennifer Carpenter on the show has 72,000 Twitter followers. Robin Quivers has 232,000 followers (comparing both lead women). 232/72 is roughly 3. 3 x 2 million is 6 million. Howard has 6 million listeners.
