Should I get Wii U?

I have one. It all comes down to how big of a Nintendo fan you are. The controller is weird but in a cool kind of Dreamcast (Sega) way.The HD graphics are pretty sweet. Super Mario Bros WiiU is a mandatory purchase. I would say if you enjoy Nintendo games you wont regret the purchase.

If you don't even know if you really want it, why would you consider getting it? $400-600 may not be a lot of money to you, but it still feels like a lot of money to spend on something that you don't know if you even want.

From what I've seen, the reviews are pretty damn positive. But, you know, those are from people who wanted it and waited for it.

There is not very many games to go with the wii u, i have it and the games mario,madden,nba & nintendoland ...played it for like 2 days and now i do not really play it at all. i've spent around $500 for the system and the 4 games.

Nintendo first party games don't really need crazy graphics. Really that's why anybody would buy a WiiU is for the first party games.

The game pad isn't really a mobile gaming device. It's meant more for like dad wants to watch the football game but junior wants to play Mario Kart. With the game pad junior can play and dad can watch TV. Who knows what else Nintendo will think of to do with the pad besides that.

I'd wait a bit to get the thing because of the break-in period. I think of the 360 with its bad solder joints and how Microsoft had to repair the bad ones and re-do its production values.

Let the people who NEED the first wave get them, work out the bugs, and get one yourself in a few months.
