    Love the beasts and I am yet to meet 1 that doesn't love me. I just travel too much. I'm not home enough to train it properly. We live in 'town', so I couldn't just let it run. All things that I deem vitally important to a dog. When I can do 1 or both of those things(preferably both, but at least being home would give me time to take it to run), I'll have a dog.



    When I was younger, I did have a few K-9 partners, but I was young and an asshole, so I made a point of not getting too close to them. It kind of turned out to be a good thing, as I never had that 'fairytale' where the dog grows old enough that it retires and the handler takes it to live with his/her family.

    That is why wanted us to wait to get a dog, once the children were old enough to assist with walking we got Harvard.
    When Sweet Potato is ready you should get one.

    Harvey is adorable & the most handsome red-hued Golden I've seen in quite some time. Elvis is a blonde so it's not really apples to apples.

    I do think Goldens are the most beautiful breed out there. No question.
