I had been reading quite a bit about the original series that Homeland is loosely based on. I tracked down the shows with English subtitles and started watching yesterday, DAMN, those are some serious dramas. Great writing, the show is like a great book, not much action but you just can't stop watching. It is vastly different from the direction Homeland took, here you concentrate on the people and what they're hiding??
