I thought about the sweet potato but I'm not sure if I want something sweet. I'm in a salty mood today.

 look at you!! You just reminded me we have cobs frozen in the freezer from this summer. However my family are not the neatest of eaters when it comes to chewing, it might make me mad at them :

It's awesome. What's even more awesome is not being able to shut up about it and telling someone you did that and then have them mock you about it all evening. So awesome

OKAY! Let me start with the super cheese toast - it's garlic bread with fancy heels.

1 cup mozza, 1 cup old cheddar

    Green onions/scallions - 4 - 5, chopped.

    1/2 cup mayo

    Garlic powder

    Salt/pepper to taste.

    1 lb bacon, fried crisp.

1 Italian or French loaf - the bread of your choice.

Slice said bread, butter it and garlic it, and give it a slight browning.

Mix everything else but the bacon in a bowl. Slather it on top of the crisped bread.

Top it with the crisped bacon, and throw it under a broiler until the cheese browns and bubbles.

My kids BEG me to make this on a regular basis.

I know that everybody thinks that using canned soup is cheating in a recipe, but they can fuck themselves. (sorry EC!)

1 bag of frozen broccoli, boiled and drained.

    3 cups of old cheddar.

    1 cup of mayo.

    1 egg.

1/2 grated onion. (you can just chop it finely if your kids aren't as picky as mine)

Salt/pepper/garlic to taste (I can't help myself, garlic actually isn't in the initial recipe, I just love it very much)

    1 can of mushroom soup.

    Mix all ingredients together.

Take a bag of Ritz crackers, and smush 'em up. Half on the bottom, half on the top, with the mixture in-between. Dab the top with butter - cover it with tinfoil for the first 20 minutes of baking, then uncover for the last 10.

I'm no longer allowed at my BF's Christmas part unless I show up with this casserole.

Truth. I tried this recipe with different crackers, and fresh broccoli.

    It sucked balls.
