so i get out of the shower and one of my neighbors is ringing my doorbell. an older lady, retired, who lives alone upstairs. she asked me to help her get into her apt: she was unable to open her deadbolt lock with the keys. turns out she was having a senile moment and could not handle having similar looking keys on her keyring. kinda sad when you see someone growing senile and more unable to live unassisted. i'm gonna get her some of those colored key identifiers so maybe she won't get confused the next time; its important for people to remain self-reliant as long as possible.
