So anyone going out at 8pm to hit Target or Wal-Mart???
I'm not....even though Target has some AMAZING deals!
Tonight is called "gray Thursday"....I guess that means the stores make a tiny profit???? since Tomorrow is "Black Friday" when they hope to get out of the "red" ?
I know working in Retail....(jewelry sales) I sold over $200,000 in Sterling Silver from 5am to 10am ! HUGE commissions...
and then the customers bring it all back for credit..bummer!
This year I'm not doing Black Friday OR Gray Thursday!!
I need a break
How do all those obese people u see on TV shop after stuffing themselves with Turkey all day?????

I can't find any sort of sympathy in myself for people who get killed shopping.
The other amazing thing is these people aren't even guaranteed that they'll actually be able to get ahold of the bargain they want. Most stores keep their sales items limited to 5 or 10. So you wake up at some ungodly hour on your day off, completely bloated from eating, nursing a hangover, Park 5 miles away from the store while having to deal with dummies driving around the parking lot. Wait in line with these cretins, rush into the store like a bunch of stampeding cattle, and have to fight to save a few bucks.
All this being said, I am going to Guitar Center. But I'll probably go tomorrow night. 15% off on my Les Paul Traditional.

I accidentally got caught in a stampede for Cabbage Patch dolls about 30 years ago and I've avoided the heavy traffic shopping days ever since.
