I would love to know what the staff think of the current level of show production. Even a couple of hacks like Sal and Richard must consider this well beneath them, and simply half to walk around on eggshells so they do not upset Louis Quatorze.

I agree with everything you said except I don't think the current team can come up with a good idea anymore. Is Jason going to brainstorm up a new way to throw someone under the bus - people who’s lame stories have been beaten to death?

I love Sal and Richard but what have they done in the last 2 years besides phony phone calls from a template or whip their dicks out? I'm completely willing to believe that they have a reservoir of material that they either can’t get to or through Howard or budgeted or resent cheap Howard but I saw that skit of them going to the Proctologist for that other website and it was just embarrassingly bad.

    JD’s a writer now.

Yeah, he did too. Actually, the missing link as to why these guys aren't on the show anymore (or weren't getting their minimal paydays) is because JACKIE isn't there anymore to come up with a good idea for them to do on the show.

The goal at Sirius was never really to do good/interesting radio.

One of the main and most important goals at Sirius was to make as much money as possible..as quickly
as possible. (...goal(s)..at least somewhat achieved.)

HS ws ready to retire (..or to try doing something "else/different".) after signing up for his last deal on radio
    with Infinity/CBS/Viacom.
..and it was soon after all of that when HS, Don and Mel/others started to kick around the various ideas of what could
possibly be done with/via one of the satellite radio companies..as well as with/through other media "entities" that were
being talked about back around during that same time period etc.

    Money....power.....and more money.

Yeah, and the goal of selling gold mines in Florida is the same. So, what does that mean? Everyone here KNOWS the product was never delivered as promised, and that it was and still IS a big money grab. That's not the answer----that's the problem

Howard pretty much admitted that when he was saying he wasn't bringing Gary the Retard into NYC because they no longer know what to do with him. Not that he was giving Jackie credit, but rather damning himself and his staff.

I think one other reason for the lack of wackpack input is that the good ones have realized that the damage to their reputations being on the show doesn't measure up to the payback. Elephant Boy as much as said he felt he was being used.

A few years back, I liked her. I thought she was someone who genuinely cared about the wack packers and. She'd make Thanksgiving dinners, and such. In hindsight, it was all a ploy so she could get more airtime. She's just another one infected with the fame bug. And she really became a downright nasty cunt towards "us" the common fans, with her whole AGT undying support. People will tune this shit show in to try and witness a train wreck. I say let it go.....unopened and unheard. It's the best commentary we can make

I don't think that was the goal at all. I think Howard intended to attempt the revolution.

I do think he intended to be more of a CEO than a principle behind the scenes player but he was building a team to replace his efforts. But I think what went wrong was that he failed to meet subscription quotas and he had already counted the bonus money in his equations. And add to that a huge chunk of that 500 million contract was in stock that turned out to be worth shit. So Howard made up that loss to his pocket by raping the budget. Things could have still gone as planned if Howard then re-inserted himself by going to creative meetings, doing rehearsals, doing bits, using the ISDN lines for impromptu shows but he was too filled with hubris to see that it was going awry.

As for Sirius’ part, they brought on the KOAM to program 2 channels with complete freedom and they never missed a scheduled payment to 112 Productions.

It is painfully obvious how big Jackie's contribution to the show was. I rarely find anything funny except for Richard and Sal and they are hit and miss. Even when they are on their A game.

I also think Howard's delusions and enormous ego led him to believe that established stars and experienced radio performers would jump at the chance to do a show on his channels for little or no compensation - strictly for the honor of working with the KOAM. In an interview he mentioned Triumph the Insult Comic Dog as an example of someone who could possibly have a show and we all know he tried to get Adam Carolla. I'm wondering how many other people turned Howard down before he settled for untalented amateurs and hacks to fill air time as cheaply as possible.

    That is an interesting question.

I also wonder the timeline in former friend's of the show's mind when the benefits outweighed Howard's wrath to do shows like O&A or even turning down doing the HSS outright.

So now that everyone on the payroll has had their own show it's time to bring in the listeners to save Howie some work and a few marbles. Know More Bullshit!

If and when this happens, we need to have an organized call in schedule to bomb the show. In a perfect world Sal and Richard would be doing it.
I am embracing my inner asshole.
