I can't wait to hear more about this guy. Were all of his victims from a similar background? I wonder what his issue was with these shopkeepers.

    People are fuckin' whack, yo.

I was informed by the investigators that Bisset was questioned because the burlap used in the Gilgo Beach murders came from his nursery; because his moral past was in question; because the phone number of one or more of the slain prostitutes was on his cell-phone records; and because he utilized Craig's List to procure women. The day after he was questioned, he committed suicide. A most disturbing story, and since the dead don't get prosecuted, and because the wealthy and politically powerful are often left alone, I see this as, quite possibly, the end of the story.
Sorry for the delay in responding -- I was away Wednesday and Thursday was posting brief, sporadic posts from my phone until last night.

The forums devoted to the killings are filled with bizarre, circumstantial clues and allegations, but I happen to believe the killer committed suicide months ago. I may be wrong.

Thanks for posting this! That actually makes me feel better about the subject. Sure, if true, no proper "justice" was dispensed and the killer fled potential prosecution on his own terms, but it means he's no longer a threat and, equally as important, it means that he wasn't somebody from law enforcement who was being shielded by his own colleagues (as some of the more far out theories suggested.)

Money will always buy silence. But I'd rather hear a story of that than a story of money or notions of "brotherhood" buying the corruption of law enforcement, ya know.

How many more lives have to be taken until someone invents a Schwoogie Buzzer for serial killers?

Yeah, that's him. You have to watch it. It's great because you know what he is, but sometimes you forget. I've gotten caught up in some of the plots where things are going really well for Dexter (in his personal life) and then I forget: oh yeah. he's gonna kill someone.

But he's the good kind of serial killer: he kills other serial killers and murderers and rapists. And once in awhile, he's wrong.

so does that makes his personal life a noine and his professional life a two?

Which profession? Being a blood-spatter analyst for the very police station hunting him or his profession of abducting and murdering other psychopaths?

I'd say his personal life is at a 3, since his wife
    and all his
    have not ended well.

His profession at the Miami PD is probably at a 6 or 7, but only because a serial killer has to maintain a somewhat low profile.

His profession as a serial killer is probably at an 8 (as of now) because he's perhaps, finally, killed the wrong person, but that remains to be seen.

I can see the sketch artist drawing the same guy each time no matter what the description.
